General Update
I’m not sure how many more times I’ll update this travel blog. I’ve moved into a new place that doesn’t have wireless so its difficult to make the updates so often. That and I have less than a week left. I go to visit Koh Phi Phi tomorrow, which is suppose to be beautiful (and touristy, and a world class place to scuba dive). I’ll be sure to take lots of photos and pass on any info I learn to you guys.
Training has come to an end for the most part for me. I lift weights and run, but otherwise I’ve stopped technique and sparring. I got a couple of minor injuries that would have forced me to take a couple days off, and then my payment cycle had ended which means I’d have to start a new one, and basically pay for days of training I wouldn’t do. I figured it made more sense, this being my last week and all, to just take it easy, do see some touristy things I missed, and get ready for my very pleasant 26 hour travel home (8+ hour layover in Seoul, NIT!).
In random news, I saw a car accident (again) today. Some guy came flying down the road too fast for the curve he was going into. It had just rained and he didn’t allow for the lost traction, he flew threw the curve and straight into a tree! The passengers were ok, but it was a freaky thing to watch, and reminded me again how crazy the drivers are in this country.
Anyway, the only thing I was really going to mention was my latest food craving. Even though I love Thai food, and I haven’t had a bad meal yet, after 6 weeks of no western food, I’m really craving some things: bread, cheese, olives, hummus and wine. I could easily make those my first meal back in the states! But I’m sure it won’t take me but a few weeks back in the US to miss Thai food and wish I was here chowing down on the curry.

Went to Costco and bought two buckets of hummus, we can score bread in S.F. and may have a wine connection. I’m sure this is a memorable journey, can’t wait to see you!
